Top 10 Xbox One Games that Need a 4K Upgrade

There will be a new Xbox in the future that can handle glorious 4k and these are the Xbox One Games that Need a 4K Upgrade. At the moment of writing many Playstation 4 titles are currently getting an upgrade to the more powerful console and these are the games that need to see that from Xbox One when moving forward.

#10: Star Wars Battlefront

Star Wars Battlefront is beautiful, it looks great already though with a 4k upgrade it could truly be a marvel of graphics for a very long time. It would also extend the title's life greatly aside from the already releasing content that keeps it fresh and DICE has been known for spending the time to enhance their games.

#9: Ori and the Blind Forest

The art style for Ori and the Blind Forest is breathtaking. It's full of wonder being bright and completely unique in its approach to the world. Some might think that a 4k upgrade wouldn't greatly change this, but having played this on my PC in 4K the colors just blow your mind.

#8: Battlefield 1

Even more so than with Star Wars Battlefront I could see Battlefield 1 getting the full upgraded experience to make the world that much more perfect. The graphics are already amazing as DICE seems to just be pushing things, but seeing everything maxed out would be grand.

#7: Rise of the Tomb Raider

Lara Croft is already getting some touch-ups with the 20th Anniversary collection featuring multiple options and those are absolutely needed on our end to experience her rise in the best possible settings.

#6: Gears of War 4

I have a feeling that the Gears of War titles on Xbox One are already future proof in regards to having the 4k textures since they had Windows 10 versions. It would be an absolute shame not to see Gears of War 4 in its full glory just pushing whatever the next Xbox is.

#5: Forza Horizon 3

Forza Horizon 3 is another title I feel is ready for the 4k world being amazing on PC with those settings and seeing that come to a console where it already seems as though it can't get any better will amaze. This is top of the line when it comes to graphic fidelity and the Horizon series with its multiple environments will shine in 4k.

#4: Halo 5: Guardians

Halo games have always looked amazing and have pushed whatever platform they've been available on. After seeing Halo 5: Forge with 4k settings I feel as though they're prepared to take Guardians to the resolution without any issues. It really does look that much better in 4k and being the flagship series it should head the charge.

#3: Gears of War: Ultimate Edition

I put this up high on the list as this is the definitive version of the first Gears of War title. Improving the entire game beautifully whether that's in the single player or multiplayer experience and it should be something that can be enjoyed for a long time. It's important to show where the series started and I feel from the Windows Store version that this will be ready for that.

#2: Minecraft

I'm not sure where Minecraft is headed on consoles as they never even seem to know. All I know is that Minecraft does look far better with 4k resolution and with that improved power we should be able to get infinite worlds at that resolution. While Minecraft does scale well, a best crafted version would be essential considering its first party and one of the biggest games ever.

#1: Halo: The Master Chief Collection

I love Halo, I still rock the Chief Collection with just under 800 hours put into it. Not everyone gave this package a second chance after the initial launch issues and that's a crime. It features a complete multiplayer of all the included games and some of the best campaigns ever. I believe a relaunch of sorts with perhaps the mighty Halo 3: Anniversary could get this collection to the proper heights that it belongs at. With the extra power they should easily be able to max out all the titles included.
