Gamerheadquarters - Games, Movies
Welcome to the annual Gamerheadquarters Video Game Awards where we kick things off with our nominations. These include multiple categories in gaming featuring the best titles of the year. Firstly, I should mention that we have a Fan Favorite Award that can be voted on from the link below or just continue down to view the nominations. We've slightly altered the categories for the awards feeling this best represents gaming in 2017. This includes adding virtual reality as a new category and the return of the Nintendo exclusive. The final awards area of the site will go live on December 17, 2017 featuring the winners for this year along with a fancy set of awards. Check out the nominations below and be sure to share around!

Other things to note: Early Access titles cannot be awarded multiple years and remasters cannot qualify for any other categories aside from the remake one. Games must have released or finished within the year to be included, this is mostly for episodic titles as they can only qualify in the year they conclude. Exclusives are now somewhat different due to a changing market, we now consider console titles exclusive if they're only available on one platform with it being fine if they're on PC. We feel these nominations cover a variety of titles and display the best of the year, hoped you might have even come across a gem you missed in the year.
