I will attempt my best to keep spoilers at a minimum with a goal of not having any as request when doing this. So for the Walking Dead game I found the last season to be all but wonky and weird when playing it on the consoles as that is my usual platform. Though for point and click games it has to be played on the proper platform that is truly PC. As opposed to the last season not even being able to stick it out through the first episode due to choppy scenes or boring play this time I was sucked right into the gameplay. I played through the entire hour and a half or so right through. I mean I was locked into the season with that over-tempting season pass I received. I was almost too happily struck by the gripping play and beautiful story that has been setup in this first episode of the season. I was amazed that I was easily able to settle in with the young Clementine and feel just as awful about her situation after just looking over some footage/wrap up of the first season. It was really easily acceptable and I even found that choices seem to truly matter so far and I was in chills doing many of the things in the episode that meant death or survival. The portions of moving through walker areas of being under attack by other hostile survivors, it was tough and rough being in the shoes of a young girl out in a very hostile world. It truly has gone all downhill over the years and I'm amazed that so many areas of the world are even alive at all. See I went through this giving no hints of what happens and have gone on to say that this start of the story will be creating a time for me that I will be in anticipation of each upcoming chapter.
Everything in the game played smooth, was easy to move through and really had no issues. The puzzles were not too difficult though i was quite in question of using the Q for mashing and at times there were some parts where it was frustrating when trying to freely move through the environments. Everything seemed to place me right in there scavenging and seeing the choices actually make and effect in what was going on.
Some parts of the chapter were very intense and had me quite drawn in which was quite the opposite effect last time around. I don't know if it is the mix of a young child out there or that from the moment i started it I never wanted to leave. I can't wait to play the next episode and see where the story is headed as there seems to be a main themed enemy boss in the distance. Whether it be the crazy scenes of the tiny moments, every decision seems to matter and every little thing can change how you play. I'm unsure where the story
will lead or how the new characters will handle it, but I just can't wait to see how unravels. There really wasn't any issues and i'm sure your playthrough of it will make you desire more, like right away.
