Crazy Taxi Gazillionaire Review
I recently received an odd package from SEGA in the mail, it contained a water bottle, mints and a info sheet about this corporation I was to join. It was certainly an odd way to introduce a game, but it got me intrigued and I downloaded Crazy Taxi Gazillionaire. It sounds strange for sure, but it's based on a classic gaming property and is actually enjoyable to play. The goal of the game is to make mad stacks by rocking the taxi industry. You run a fleet of cars by clicking customers on the screen and then upgrading the cars.
It's a clicker game to an extent as you tap the screen to pick people up, pull of stunts and grab special power-ups. There's some intricacy to the game as you work your up the chain of taxis and hire new drivers along the way. There are tons of these drivers to obtain, you can upgrade them or their vehicles as well. You can certainly find a lot to do within this simple game and that was surprising. I'm not sure that it's the most amazing thing in the world, but the humor is great and it's fun to tap along to. It certainly carries its own vibe and has the right amount of craziness that's attention grabbing.
Crazy Taxi Gazillionaire works well as the type of experience it's trying to create and it's definitely different from others within the genre. It could have used some more movement or controls to it, but I do enjoy it as a simple night ender. It's entertaining to watch the taxis roll around knocking things over as they run insane routes and the constant stacks of cash rolling in keeps my attention. It also has multiple options for gaining boosts while playing and I never felt forced to see ads or spend money. I did however watch some ads as they offer to duplicate earned income when you sign into the game. What's magical about having a strong taxi crew is that you're still making money hourly so the game doesn't just end when you leave it. Crazy Taxi Gazillionaire is a unique mobile game and one that I've been enjoying.
