Currently in Early Access Endless Legend is a beautifully designed and great looking turn based game. Featuring the mythical style with multiple factions you evolve as a civilization and expand your cities. Now, the best part of this game at the moment aside from the great technology trees and city developments it looks amazing. Scrolling in and out reveals differing styles of maps and it looks stunning. The generated worlds have flowing streams, high mountains and other multiple land pieces which are set in hexagonal spaces. This is well developed and the landscaping of the lands is really quite something to look at. I somewhat disliked how territories are drawn upon the land as they are weirdly shaped at times and fill a vast area of land. This also comes in to my complain of that I would like to expand my empire with more cities, but it's really difficult with the shapes and wide gaps of land. Back to gameplay I really liked the wide variety of creatures or ruins that filled the land, though these damn creatures are way to powerful and can ruin the game. I killed these flying things over and over for a four squad to come and wipe out my capital (garbage!). I'd like to see this changed as it really does kill a lot of enjoyment, I was just going along taking my turns and it just killed my game. The turn based system performs really well and keeps you addicted as it is supposed to with you gripping for technological advancement and city growth. I really liked the handling of the tree that gives us a circle with an age that allows us to move at a pace we decide. Even the city growth is really interesting with many builds to do and extra structures to add to the side. Combat is also handled very well with manual battles being worth it to strategically place your troops for battle. I say you have to do this way as auto seems to always kill anyone I have wandering out and about, like actually everything tries to kill anything I have. Also it would be nice if auto showed the battle waging instead of just going you have lost. There is also the opportunity to create legions or well armies of troops to have a stronger force. Overall I thought the conflict was great, just enemies seemed unbalanced in a sense. From what I have been able to play so far it doesn't seem to have any real issues, I just had a random warning pop up once that really didn't do anything. This is really good for early access titles as some are more buggy than others. It seems there is other content planned, but you can already play this for hours without wanting to leave it. I still have to say as a final word on it that the style of gameplay with its graphics is just magical. Worth checking out and can't wait to see how it evolves overtime.
