Usually the LEGO aspect of these fun packs disappoint offering a decent minifig, but often the secondary vehicle is half of what a vehicle should be or just lacking in general. The Stay Puft minifig is truly one of a kind since we've see larger iterations of the character to match the movie, but nothing of the smaller scale to fit in with the rest of squad. With marshmallow man we also have the Terror Dog from the first film and I was impressed with this creation. It looks great, is simple to build and is completely articulate. You can move the tail, the head and the legs have some movement to them making this feel like something that could be used with the minifigures. In the past some of the vehicles don't function at all and it's refreshing to see one that actually does. I was very happy with the creation of these figures within the fun pack and it's the best offering thus far.
These two characters are useful for melee type scenarios as the dog offers purely biting attacks, but is a riot to ride. Stay Puft is great with the melee and can also be grown into a massive Stay Puft by holding down the "B" button. It's hilarious to see him all terrifying as a massive character or just being a regular menace at usual minifig size. He fits well into the cast with a fresh and smiling face while being completely unique to this experience.
While not every fun pack has been stellar this one sets itself apart from all others providing a strong gameplay presence and real world minifigure one as well. I was very impressed with the care that went into making the real world LEGO versions with the Terror Dog being full of smaller pieces to create a well put together creation. Stay Puft is also incredible in LEGO form still capturing the joy of the big creature from the movies, but making him more of a fun addition to my collection. Gameplay wise they both function well and provide a good brawling option to the roster with big Stay Puft being crazy. This was a great pack and the one I'd most suggest being an essential part of your LEGO Dimensions team, sorry Unikitty!
