The Tables

Been awhile since our last table review on Pinball FX2, but we're back with the latest table which is all about Venom. Or well a battle of Venom vs Spiderman which is slightly disappointing as I thought this would be all about Venom. Anyways, to start off I felt the table was a bit drab in color as it didn't seem as shiney as past tables and a bit rustic. Additionally the aesthetics and layout of the table was strange and didn't have quite the great flow previous tables had with the lanes movement. It was still a solid table and a must have for Spiderman or Venom fans as those two are well represented within the missions, objectives and general play on the table. There are some iconic areas represented on the board like the bell tower and the awesome symbiote goo that can be found on the edges of the play area.

The Conclusion

It's a solid table to add into your collection, but I felt the table could have had a better color palette to it and maybe some smoother lanes as everything was stuffed really tight at the bottom. Venom is mostly the centerpiece here, yet a further focus could have been placed on this instead of a dynamic against Spiderman in particular. I should also mention that Carnage is present here on the table as well just locked away for awhile. Finally there are some neat cinematic features that pop into the screen at times which may be annoying for some and can be turned off at anytime to clear the viewing area.
