When E3 2014 rolled up I honestly never expected an announcement for further Dead Rising 3 DLC, yet here I am reviewing another addition to the amazing game. The title is quite the mouthful spanning a wide span of words and making a great mockery of other Capcom game naming. The entire DLC itself just laughs at the heritage of Capcom in the greatest and most hilarious way imaginable. Pick your favorite Dead Rising characters, including Frank West! as you kill hordes of zombies in an arcade fashion and unlock new costumes to dress up as your favorite characters from the Capcom universe. There's just a ton of wild outfits to select that each pack their own special powers and abilities. In total there are twenty of these to choose from with some really packing a punch compared to others in the matches. The DLC is split into four unique areas that cover four areas from Dead Rising 3 and each have their own action build up styles to them. Each chapter doesn't take very long to play and is split down further into smaller chapters that have a very definite order to them. Whether that be slay a pile of zombies or kill various power bosses. Though in-between this all they did have some neat mini games and manipulations on the game. This varied from massive items to destroy, differing perspectives from up above or the side and saving survivors which are now 2D animated sprites. Power-Ups are also rampant in the levels as you call in air strikes, take use of the rocket launcher or eat a nice lunch. You can also collect bonus coins throughout the levels found in crates to assist in purchasing further costumes for the characters. It was very neat to see these small plays on the game and it really does help create a more wild environment of unpredictability. The real value in this pack as it's very quick to play through is that you can constantly redo it for a wild play each time and to work towards unlocking more costumes along with achievements. It's also a tad bit cell shaded to an extent to give it a nice cartoon graphics set to help the atmosphere further.

The Conclusion

Get ready for what's really the best and most wild of the Dead Rising 3 DLC expansions. Throwing away story you get a crazy explosion filled fun arcade experience that takes you across Los Perdidos once more in a relaxed mood. Though the relaxation can be broken quickly with how competitive this cooperative game can get as everyone wants to most points possible. The Super Ultra Dead Rising 3' Arcade Remix Hyper Edition EX + α is quite worth it as the name is fun and there's a bunch of hours more gameplay added to the Dead Rising 3. So set forth in a party of four as you play with/against each other in the most out there pack of downloadable content that I have ever seen.
