The install size for Middle-Earth: Shadow of War has been revealed coming in at a large size at launch releasing on October 10, 2017 taking up a total of 47.10 GB on the Xbox Marketplace. Typically a Xbox Play Anywhere title would give us two install sizes though it appears they now just pick a single size to make available. Assume the game sizes will be similar for both platforms unless otherwise stated and I imagine this number will be adjusted further when the Xbox One X version releases since that will include 4k textures. If you're unaware of Xbox Play Anywhere, buy it once on console or PC and own it both places. The game will share Achievements, game saves and typically have cross-play though with this being a single player game that's not needed.
Middle-Earth: Shadow of War is the follow-up to Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor and continues the story from that release. This includes the well known Nemesis System where the enemies know when they've taken care of you. This time around you're heading behind enemy lines in Mordor to build up an army, meet massive creatures and basically just explore the largest take on Middle-Earth yet.
