The upcoming 2014 school season is fast approaching and for the first time at Gamerheadquarters we're doing a "Back to School" tech guide for the students. Just going to be going over details on the best products to get you ready for the upcoming school year whether that be heading back to High School or some sort of Post Secondary schooling. This article will be localised to the Canadian region in terms of the giveaway we're doing for Office 365 Home. Details for that particular giveaway will of course be found at the bottom of this article. Starting at just $849 the Surface packs three grand pillars; Productivity brought alive with multi tasking starting from an i5, Design with the fancy snapping keyboard feature along with its light chassis and finally Speed with the efficiency work is done. I personally cannot suggest the Surface enough as I've had the first generation Pro since release and the device more than helped me through High School along with my post secondary education. The small size, light weight and power makes this the perfect device for any student.

Office 365 Home

We've all had experience with Microsoft Office at some point and now that suite of programs has finally hit the cloud. Office 365 can be used on 5 differing PCs or Macs along with 5 differing Tablets. You will be able to share your Office 365 with 4 other family members so that everyone in the family will be able to benefit from the software. This can all be purchased for $10 a month or $99 for the full year. The package also includes 1TB for OneDrive and 60 Skype minutes for calls. Office applications include Word; Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook, Publisher and Access.
