As a Xbox fan, Bungie is letting me Down

I've been meaning to write this for awhile, or well ever since I felt that Bungie has taken themselves in another direction. I don't care if the movement towards Playstation is an Activision thing, it's rather heartbreaking. Having followed Bungie and supported them for over 10 years as many others have on the Xbox brand I feel as though they have entirely thrown us into a shallow grave. Ever since I played Halo so long ago I have followed the franchise and every aspect of it as it developed over the years. After playing for so long I moved towards following the creators as they continued to make outstanding Halo games. It was that element mixed with an awesome understanding and support for the community that played their games. With every DLC I bought and time I contributed to the community I felt that they had support for the fans. I even spent countless times celebrating their special 7th of the 7th Bungie Day holiday which had us fighting for steaks or getting free DLC. Now I understand that they might have had a small following with their amazing Marathon series and of course Mythic. Though it was the Halo series that really gained them a following, as ten plus years of developing games gained them a godlike spotlight which many other studios attempt to gain. People such as myself spent hours adding to their forums, building maps and reading their newsletters.

Destiny Bungie

I understand at a certain point they felt that the Halo franchise was being "whored out" as I could quote that from Tony Goodman of Ensemble (rest in piece the studio). Even with the breakup from Microsoft it was rough as we took the kids; the house, the car and of course the dog leaving them with basically nothing. It was the right thing to do for Xbox as Halo is the flagship series thata always sells consoles. It could create a sour feeling between Microsoft and Bungie, but both sides seem to claim that there's no issue. For this I ask why we receive a measly joke Beta lasting only 4 days while Playstation gets an Alpha and an extended Beta. It's garbage and only gets worse from there as they get exclusive content ahead of Xbox users for the same price. Why is this happening to fans that have supported a developer for such a long time with every side just giving a meh to it. Even worse for me and I'm sure other fans are having this issue is that my Playstation playing friends are shoving it in my face, this is something that happens though I never thought it would be because of Bungie's direction. Destiny is a game I'm heavily following and looking forward to, it just hurts to be cast away from a studio that we helped build over such a long time. If you had told me years ago that this would be happening I would easily laugh it off, but at this point anything could happen. So that's how I feel, betrayed and disappointed in a company which I have followed for so long.
