MyDream has already easily surpassed its kickstarter goal of $100,000 by more than 10% with still a good 14 days to go within its campaign. With 236 backers at the point of writing this Mydream is quite close to its next goal of a survival mode once reaching $150,000. Being built around the concept of a completely user generated environment everything is created by players with an impressive 4.3 million 3D Voxel objects having already been created within its private beta testing that is currently at invite only. Though with a simple backing of $5 you will be able to hop into that beta and help shape the world before the release. What I found really fascinating about this title is the mix of an RPG aspect of where experience is gained through playing the world you create around you. Your worlds and adventures will be easily shared with the rest of the community as they rate and partake in whatever you choose to share with them. You can really build whatever sort of structures of landscape that you want and your experience will build with the complexity of your work and ratings of others that play on your adventure. There is also some work going towards a levelling system based around teamwork as everything is better when you have some friends to explore the worlds with. The world around you is also incredibly dynamic as it is changing constantly by itself or your effects on it as everything is destructible of really configurable to your wildest desires. There are a number of biomes within this world with grassland; ice n' snow and lava currently being highlighted with it certainly looking fantastic at from the screenshots. There are even little mini rock creatures that you can collect to raise for harvest and develop further technology for you to take advantage of. You will be able to edit almost anything at anytime, as there are ways to safeguard your project against others hopping in and destroying your monuments. Mydream is to be heavily focused on a cooperative environment hoping to capture all ages with friendly gameplay and easy servers that are all to be run by them so individuals don't have to deal with the hassle of server running. It certainly looks impressive and is hard to compact all the information or really scope of this project into a simple article, so you are welcome to click the link below to view the kickstarter page for yourself!
