Life is Strange: Before the Storm Xbox One X Install Size

The install size for Life is Strange: Before the Storm on Xbox One X has been revealed coming in at a small size with the enhanced option being available starting December 20, 2017 taking up a total of 6.40 GB on the Xbox Marketplace. The Xbox One Base size is noted as 6.21 GB at the current moment as just the core title (Episode 1), the various episodes vary in size. Episode 2 is 5.65 GB and Episode 3 is 6.27 GB. Both base versions are similar in size, but there are a number of extra options for the upgrade.

It's a small yet great update that brings some changes to the quality while offering players a graphic choice. The size might have been shared amongst the DLC content, it's unknown how much was adjusted. The install size was grabbed from the console with the game having been given a decently large update and it now showing up under "Xbox One X Enhanced Games" tab. 4k assets for games are automatically available to those on the Xbox One X. This install size will most likely stay the same as all the cores episodes are out and while a bonus episode is coming, it'll be separate from the core package.

Life is Strange: Before the Storm is the prequel series to the original season that follows Chloe as she meets and connects with Rachel. While the game carries a distinct art style the increase of quality is greatly welcomed. In the game you get two options, you get access to a mode that grants 60fps or one that favors resolution. The noted resolution on the Xbox Enhanced list is set at 4k. The game looks great in either, but honestly the fluidity of the 60fps which is the default setting in the game was excellent to experience. Before the Storm is an episodic series featuring three core episodes and an extra bonus episode. It follows a story made of choices and intense moments that are ever so emotional. You get to understand the narrative behind Chloe and the one she was very close to until Max returned into her life for Life is Strange.
