For Honor Xbox One X Install Size

The install size for For Honor on Xbox One X has been revealed coming in at a large size with the enhanced option being available starting December 5, 2017 taking up a total of 48.40 GB on the Xbox Marketplace. The Xbox One Base size is noted as 47.92 GB at the current moment as just the core title. It would seem that both sizes are close to being the same size.

It could be that new dynamic content download was at play on the console to keep sizes down or they basically share the same assets. The install size was grabbed from the console with the game having been given a decently large update and it now showing up under "Xbox One X Enhanced Games" tab. 4k assets for games are automatically available to those on the Xbox One X. This install size will most likely increase since the game still has further planned support for update and content with seasons in place.

For Honor is an epic and intense online blade based title where players battle it out for glory across a number of distinct battlefields. Aside from general information, this For Honor Xbox One X enhanced update is packed full of great little improvements across the experience. The game is using real-time variable resolution up to 4k quality with increased shadow definition as well as improved shadow resolution. There's an increased level of distance detail and many far away portions of the environment will be rendered in a higher definition.

Water is tweaked using Screen-Space Reflections and will now show dynamic reflections. These are some great changes that provide a much more realistic world for players to duke it out in. Not everyone will be sitting there to appreciate the gorgeous world as I'm sure warrior combat will always take center stage. Whatever the case, it's a great set of enhancements and it should make For Honor continue to dazzle with its stunning environments.
