Fallout 4 Xbox One X Install Size

The install size for Fallout 4 on Xbox One X has been revealed coming in at a large size with the enhanced option being available starting November 29, 2017 taking up a total of 49.2 GB on the Xbox Marketplace. The Xbox One Base size is noted at 47.21 GB at the current moment as just the core title. Neither of these sizes include any of the DLC content which adds an additional few more GB, they also don't include any mods which can be grabbed in-game. It looks like both versions are close to the same size at this current point with the patch being a small jump.

It could be that new dynamic content download was at play on the console to keep sizes down. The install size was grabbed from the console with the game having been given a decently large update and it now showing up under "Xbox One X Enhanced Games" tab. 4k assets for games are automatically available to those on the Xbox One X. This install size will most likely be the final quantity unless there are minor tweak updates as I can't imagine there being anything new added.

Fallout 4 is Bethesda's long awaited sequel bringing players back to a vast wasteland plagued by the destruction of the world. Venture through the Commonwealth with your chosen companion, find your son and explore a large world of conflict. With the enhancements players will be given 4k resolution though no HDR support which is disappointing, but God Rays are present with the update which is nice. These do definitely make the light rays far more present within your day adventures. The resolution is labeled as dynamic so it might be close to native at times, but still a big difference in quality and general performance regardless. There's a large draw distance enhancement present for trees, grass, objects and NPCs. That's all, but it's certainly a nice update despite the age of the game and it's good enough to keep the game shining for quite awhile. Marketplace Storepage (Size on Site)
