Virtual Reality Holiday Gift Guide 2017

Virtual Reality has continued to grow throughout 2017 and with that, here are a selection of games that should enhance your experience across all the headset platforms. These are a variety of options for the best vr play to really enhance the holidays for those that can enter the wonderful virtual worlds. With there only being a number of headset bundles that haven't really changed I'm not able to go over the best variants to grab to instead focus on games. There's of course Playstation VR, Oculus Rift and HTC Vive available with our current most support going to the PSVR.

The Games

Resident Evil 7: Biohazard
When it comes to virtual reality this entry in the horror series really brings the gore throwing you right into the perspective of this horribly gruesome story. It's a fantastic experience and a truly unique vr offering.
Our RE7 Review

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Skyrim is massive, it's ported everywhere but there's nothing quite as thrilling as actually stepping into the wonderful world to scream at creatures or just loot it up. This is certainly an interesting and new way to experience the game for fresh players or those wanting to revisit the world.

DOOM VFR
Taking place within the same general area as the recent DOOM, this spin-off provides all the visceral gore you could want across a brand new story. It's got some decent content and if you want something truly crazy you'll get that here.
Our DOOM VFR Review
Virtual Reality Holiday Gift Guide 2017 bundles featuring all the Virtual Reality One S Models Christmas 2017
Rick and Morty: Virtual Rick-Ality
Rick and Morty is all the rage, the virtual reality experience let's you jump right into that universe. If you like the show you'll most likely love this.

Dino Frontier
Our primary PSVR writer absolutely loved this game. It's a town building simulation game where you run the operation and the location is inhabited by dinosaurs.
Our Dino Frontier Review

VR Karts
Solid option for those that want to hop into a karting experience whether that's for the younger audience or those that just want an enjoyable easy going racing title.

Radial-G
A gorgeous futuristic racing title, compete against some incredible backdrops while battling locally or against others online. It's really quite the experience with a nice visual element to it that complements the speed well.

Fantastic Contraption
Definitely a strange title, but a creative one at that. You're playing around with objects and building things in order to tackle challenges.

Minecraft
You can never go wrong with the ultimate crafting title that's absolutely massive world wide. It's that same experience you love, but thrown right into the world. It works on Better Together for cross-play support with other platforms as well. We always suggest Minecraft whenever the option appears.

Archangel
A narrative driven vr title where you get to pilot a large mech while exploring a future where things for the general population are not great.
