Playstation has had an Impressive Start in 2017

2017 is going to be a great year in gaming with tons of amazing titles to come, but Playstation in particular has already had an impressive start to the year. This being with the console receiving a pile of stellar exclusives right at the start of the year with many possible releases still to come. It's been crazy seeing how they're already leading the exclusive race in 2017 and there doesn't seem to be any sign of it slowing down. There's also been a wide variety in what sort of games have arrived on the platform which truly brings something for everyone. Each of these large games are ones that compete in the top tier of title releases with most being AAA experiences.

The year started strong right away with the releases of Gravity Rush 2, Yakuza 0 and Nioh. Each of the games is completely unique in gameplay design all scoring incredibly well and being greatly received. In what was basically a month later Playstation also saw it's highly anticipated Horizon Zero Dawn release to perfect reviews (game is a masterpiece) and that was instantly followed by NieR: Automata which also received very high scores as well. That's five regular massive games that have released only a few months into the year and that onslaught of games doesn't seem to be ending anytime soon. These are even further carried by a handful of smaller indie exclusives and Playstation VR ones as well that have released this year.

While it's been crazy already with an overwhelming about of games to play, that list will only grow within the next month. Playstation gamers will also be able to check out what's supposed to be the amazing Persona 5 and MLB The Show 17 which if you're a Baseball fan is top notch. There are also some smaller remasters of classic Playstation games set to release around the same time as these two and I don't think any gaming season has been so packed for one console. There's also a huge list of pending games that will most likely release this year on the platform such as the Crash Bandicoot remastered trilogy; Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, Spiderman, possibly God of War all in 2017.

There are of course many, many more titles in production though I wanted to focus on ones I'm fairly sure will definitely release in 2017. It's a crazy time to be on Playstation and it seems like the console was completely worth it when I picked one up last year. This just an insane line-up and I'm sure many area aware of the other massive future games such as The Last of Us II; Death Stranding, Detroit: Become Human and Days Gone that are being worked on though I see 2018 as being more likely for these titles if not later.
