Gears multiplayer is back in full swing bringing with it some classic modes while also introducing a handful of new ones. It's interesting that they opted to remove Blitz quite honestly, but the selection of modes present is decent. I'll also be sure to update this with any additional Gears 4 versus modes that get announced over the season pass.
Team Deathmatch: Eliminate all members of the opposing team, each team has limited respawns where dead players will spawn together every fifteen seconds
Dodgeball: Eliminate the opposing team to win, every kill will bring back a dead teammate
Arms Race: Kill the enemy with every gun, every three kills changes you team’s weapon. The team to get three kills with the last weapon will win
Escalation: Capture and hold objective rings to score enough points to win, or capture the three rings to win instantly. New weapons are added every round chosen by the top player of the losing team. Player respawn timers increase every round.
Guardian: Execute the enemy team leader to prevent respawns, then eliminate the opposing team to win.
Execution: Eliminate all members of the opposing team using the executions, you get one life per round.
King of the Hill: Capture and hold the objective ring to score enough points to win, teammates will respawn at the same time every fifteen seconds.
Warzone: Eliminate all members of the opposing team, you get one life per round and cannot self-revive when downed.
