Minecraft: Pocket Edition IOS Xbox Achievements

After checking out "Qwik"'s profile page on Xbox it seems that Minecraft Pocket Edition IOS will be receiving Xbox Achievements for a total of 1110 Gamerscore. This is an interesting aspect as it means that once again we're going to see Xbox Achievements be integrated into a title not native to Microsoft operating systems. We've seen this in the past in regards to Halo: Spartan Assault and Strike IOS; Wordament, Age of Empires: Castle Siege among others. I felt it was only a matter of time before this happened as the mobile platforms are in-line with Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition that already sports achievements. Looking through the list it also appears to be the exact same and will also have the ability to track player progress such as blocks or time played. This will help in unifying the platform and hopefully other IOS or Android titles receive Xbox achievement system support. It's also worth noting that aside from Minecraft PE IOS getting achievements, the site Trueachievements has a page up tracking Minecraft PE Android achievements so that may very well signal that platform getting them as well.
