Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is the COD We've Been Waiting for

After many requests and a few years of waiting it seems that Infinity Ward is finally giving us the Call of Duty we've been waiting for. That being a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare remaster featuring ten iconic multiplayer maps from what I'd still call the best Call of Duty. Not only do we get ten amazing maps as I'm sure they won't pick awful ones we also get the full campaign remastered which should be a stunning time for all those looking to relive the setup to the mega Modern Warfare franchise or new comers as it's been almost a decade. All of this remastered for the current generation and bundled with whatever this latest Call of Duty title Infinity Ward is attempting to bring us. It seems that after Call of Duty: Ghosts they've perhaps abandoned that for space battles. I personally think space battles would be cool with lasers and such as long as they go really crazy without and grounded reality as the last couple games have suffered attempting to be not futuristic enough. For the next bit I'm going to take a look at what this could possibly be and for now take a close-up look at the first reveal art for the game.

So just what's Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare? It seems to be Infinity Ward's Warfare if we break down the title, though in all seriousness it does look rather interesting. With just the art to go off of we don't know much as it's a very darkened background with the clear thing being this guy as either just some random pilot with his helmet off or maybe a space marine. It's hard to tell with the cover stars as they're just generic anyways to make you think you're the hero of the cover or something like that. There's a large ship behind him that looks like a Pelican from Halo so it may not be as futuristic as everyone thinks. Looking at the background you can see large destruction going on in cities and both seem coastal. This most likely means they'll be based on real city settings so that also indicates we may not be going too far into the future. It'll be quite interesting to see if this is a continuation of the Ghosts story line or if that will be ditched for another save the world scenario. Whatever the case is I'll be picking up the Legacy Edition which is super amazing at the extra cost though I'm really just buying Call of Duty 4 again as that's one of my most treasured games of all time. I suppose it'll be nice to have a new Call of Duty title as well since I skipped out on Black Ops 3 or maybe I'll get lucky and receive to review this year. Who knows, but I'm sure we'll find out more in June as that's when these Call of Duty titles are typically revealed. I also hope this doesn't count backwards compatibility out for Call of Duty 4 on Xbox One as I'd like to still be able to experience the original at some point as well. Also, we don't have another image for the game so enjoy the same banner as above, but below!
