Xbox One Marketplace has the best Pre-Orders

Xbox One has been doing a great job of providing great offers and specials to its player and with this last year has been offering the best pre-orders of any digital or physical store. Not only have players been receiving great deals at the launch of many digital titles and some better weekly "Deals with Gold", but the pre-orders have been only getting better. This was the case past titles such as Gears of War: Ultimate Edition or Rainbow Six: Siege. Both titles included the past library of that franchise with Siege granting players both Rainbow Six: Vegas titles for digital download via backwards compatibility and Ultimate Edition granting players the entire Gears of War franchise with Gears 1-3 and Judgment. These deals only seem to be growing larger and more widespread as shown with the many upcoming pre-order options.

With Quantum Break players get the two Alan Wake games along with all DLC and a Windows 10 version of Quantum Break for pre-ordering which is crazy. That's a lot of incentive to pick up the game as they pile on the free content. Not only will it make the decision easier to decide for gamers, it helps build the Windows 10 side of gaming and puts any brick storefront to shame as they can't come close to that offering. This trend continues with Dark Souls III coming with the original Dark Souls as well or DOOM launching with the classic titles DOOM and DOOM II. The free games are just part of the package as most include a pile of digital bonuses like armor which are usually broken up at local stores or not even received there. That's what always bothered me about places like Gamestop or Bestbuy is that they would screw me out of pre-order content constantly and part of the reason I've joined the digital future. It may be nice to get an actual real item for pre-ordering, but the only good things were shirts and honestly meh to that. You also get the great benefit of pre-loading the game when it's available to just play when the game unlocks and it's easy to obtain your pre-order offers as they just download or show up in a message from Xbox. Things get even better if you have EA Access on the console which for its cheap price gives a great 10% off EA games and 10 hours of free time usually a week before it comes out to play the game. It's great to see that the digital offerings have become better this generation and Xbox One really seems to be leading with their offerings of digital pre-orders. I've also noticed that Playstation 4 has decent sales pop up before games though they haven't done any bundles close the level that Xbox has been giving on not only first party titles, but also third party games.
